COMPLETE WORKS OF NOBEL LAUREATE, NAGUIB MAHFOUZ

Naguib Mahfouz Abdelaziz Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Basha, born on December 11, 1911, and passing away on August 30, 2006, was an Egyptian writer who received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1988. Recognized as one of the early contemporary figures in Arabic literature, Mahfouz, alongside Taha Hussein, delved into themes of existentialism. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the sole Egyptian recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Over his prolific 70-year career from the 1930s to 2004, Mahfouz authored an impressive body of work, comprising 35 novels, more than 350 short stories, 26 screenplays, numerous op-ed columns for Egyptian newspapers, and seven plays. All of his literary creations unfold within the backdrop of Egypt, consistently emphasizing the significance of the lane as a metaphor for the world.

For those eager to delve into Naguib Mahfouz's extensive literary repertoire, the International Writers Association has thoughtfully compiled a comprehensive list of his works, which is provided below.
