Objectives of the International Writers Association

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE INTERNATIONAL WRITERS ASSOCIATION


 

  1. To promote the craft of writing as a means of creative expression and personal development.
  2. To foster an international community of writers who can exchange ideas, provide mutual support, and collaborate on projects.
  3. To advocate for the rights of writers, including copyright protection, fair compensation, and freedom of expression.
  4. To provide resources and support for writers at all stages of their careers, including mentoring programs, workshops, and networking opportunities.
  5. To encourage the development and promotion of diverse voices and perspectives in literature.
  6. To organize and promote literary events, such as readings, book fairs, and writing competitions.
  7. To partner with other organizations and institutions to advance the cause of literature and writing worldwide.
  8. To provide opportunities for writers to publish their work in a variety of formats, such as anthologies, magazines, and online platforms.
  9. To engage with policymakers and other stakeholders to promote policies that support and sustain the literary arts.
  10. To promote literacy and a love of reading among people of all ages and backgrounds.
